Design Around aims to create a new invention that achieves the same goal as an existing patent, but does not infringe on existing patents. It aims to create a new invention that performs the same function as an existing patented invention, but is different enough to not infringe on the patent. If patent searches have exposed you to this risk, you may need to develop a "New Patent Development" project.
