“Our goal is to reach 100,000 people”

Destek Patent CEO Faruk Yamankaradeniz said, "Our entire effort is to contribute to Türkiye's intellectual capital and raise awareness among our youth to increase our country's global competitiveness and brand value. To date, we have signed protocols with the provincial directorates of national education in 13 provinces across Türkiye to provide training on industrial property rights to all technical and vocational high schools. We have reached 13,000 people through these trainings. Our goal is to reach 100,000 people. With the protocol we have signed again with the Istanbul Directorate of National Education, we are continuing our collaboration that facilitates reaching and educating secondary school students. Our project primarily targets students in technical and vocational high schools. We believe that awareness of industrial property rights should be raised at a very early age. We ensure that our young entrepreneurs, who are curious about invention and excited about creating a new product or brand, are informed about how to protect their rights anywhere in the world. Only by raising this awareness at an early age can we create this culture in our country."
