You can Now Apply to the Master's Program in Intellectual Property Rights Code

Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Rights designed with the cooperation of Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, World Intellectual Property Rights Organization, and Ankara University, starts education in the term of September 2016 - June 2017.

President of Turkish Patent and Trademark Office Prof. Dr. Habip ASAN conveyed his thoughts to AA reporter about Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Rights that has been worked on since 2010.

Indicating that intellectual property affects technological developments, international commercial relationships, investment decisions and economic growth of countries, Prof. ASAN stated that there were great differences between developed countries and developing countries in protecting intellectual property rights. Stating that Turkey has had some serious progress in this matter in recent years, Prof. ASAN mentioned that they designed Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Rights.

Prof. ASAN indicated that Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Rights will fill a huge gap, and "Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Rights designed with the cooperation of Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, World Intellectual Property Rights Organization, and Ankara University, starts education in the term of September 2016 - June 2017," he added.

"Application deadline is September 2"

Emphasizing that the relevant master program is a first in Turkey, Prof. ASAN stated that the program is aimed at meeting the need of postgraduates in the country concerning intellectual and Intellectual property rights.

Providing details of the program, Prof. ASAN stated that the education will be conducted in English. Indicating that both domestic and international students can enroll in the program, Prof. ASAN stated that the application deadline is September 2.

Stating that those who complete the program will be equipped with comprehensive and detailed information regarding intellectual and Intellectual property rights including international law practice, Prof. ASAN added: "This project can be considered an academic extension of the support provided by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology for the creation of innovative ideas, designs, inventions, and world brands in our country."

Prof. ASAN said that the program would provide prestige to Turkey about Intellectual Property Rights.
