Top 10 universities Shortlisted in Entrepreneur and Innovative University Index in 2018, and...

"Entrepreneurial and Innovative University Index of 2018" prepared by Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) was announced by Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank. Minister Varank stated that Middle East Technical University (METU) ranked first with 93.16 points in the Entrepreneurial and Innovative Index of 2018, Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ) ranked second with 90.16 points and Sabancı University ranked third place with 85.49 points.

Varank continued his words by stating that the index is being prepared for the seventh this year and that universities are the most important step in the development of entrepreneurship spirit and innovation culture. The minister stated that the Index has become a prestigious rating awaited by the general public, especially universities, and that the government aims to improve the inter-university entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.
