The First In Turkey: Togg To Win If Design Awards 2021

Turkey’s Automobile Joint Venture Group (TOGG) has become the first company from Turkey to win iF Design Awards 2021, one of the most prestigious awards in the world in the mobility category. TOGG C-SUV, designed by TOGG and Pininfarina design teams designed with 150 thousand hours of work and registered in 27 EU countries along with China, Japan, and Russia, was awarded in the “Professional Concept” category.

The statistics published by European Patent Office show that Coronavirus epidemic did not affect the number of the patent obtained but the developments were mostly made in the medical technology field. In this context, reminding that there were 181.406 patent applications in 2019, the institution stated that the application number reduced to 180.250 in 2020. This indicates a slight decrease of 0.7%.

Then, he registers the trademark “Audi”, which is the Latin translation of “Horch”. The four circles in the Audi logo symbolize the unity of motor vehicle manufacturers Audi, DKW, Horch, and Wanderer.
